About Glean

Glean is a note taking platform that allows students to record audio from lectures, webinars and tutorials, and synchronise it with visual materials like slides and PDFs to create a comprehensive study resource. This can be done online or offline and on any device.

Glean operates in four key stages. Firstly, users capture everything by recording audio and importing any accompanying visuals. Next, they can organise their content by labelling and annotating it, generating transcripts and creating an automated outline of the material. The third stage allows users to refine their notes. This includes re-listening to important sections, enhancing audio clarity, and enriching notes with additional details and multimedia elements. Finally, Glean enables students to apply their knowledge by utilising built-in quizzes, optimising notes for readability, and exporting or printing them for offline study.
