Auxiliary Aids for Schools Response
BATA submitted a response to the DfE Auxiliary Aids consultation. We called for a greater awareness of Assistive Technology as a necessary reasonable adjustment for children in schools – for learning difficulties including dyslexia, as well as more visible disabilities -- and pointed out the benefits of greater independence in learning.
Thanks to those who answered our email appeal with their ideas.
